Tangkoko Nature Reserve is situated approx 2 hours car ride from Manado Town, it consists of 9,000 hectares of prime lush Jungle, the ideal place to trek in search of the Black Crested Macaque. Endemic to North Sulawesi; Small Celebes Cuscus, large eyed marsupial; Celebes Tarsier Spectral, one of the smallest primates in the world; Maleo Bird, endemic to Sulawesi and who lays its eggs in the soil and the amazing Red Knobbed Hornbill almost Regal in appearance.

Your trip will start from Cha Cha at 13.30 (just after Lunch), you will transfer to the mainland by speed boat (approx 30 mins) to your awaiting a/c car with driver. The two hour scenic journey will offer you the possibility of seeing mainland daily life, passing many road side fruit sellers and small villages until you arrive to the out skirts of Bitung at which point you will leave the main road and begin the climb up into the Northern Highlands, from here you will be approx 30 minutes away from Tangkoko.

On arrival at Tangkoko our driver will organize your entry to the Park and you will be introduced to your Park Ranger who will, for the following two hours, guide you through the Park and explain to you about the Flora and Fauna of this amazing National Park.
At 18.30 you will start your return drive back to our boat, arriving at Cha Cha at 21.00 and late evening meal.
